Natura is a Latin translation of the Greek term physis (φύσις), which formerly related to the intrinsic characteristics that plants, pets or animals, and other top features of the earth develop of their own accord. The concept of nature all together, the physical universe, is one of several expansions of the initial notion; it started with certain center applications of the word φύσις by pre-Socratic philosophers, and has steadily gained currency ever since. Within the various uses of the word today, "nature" often refers to geology and animals. Nature can make reference to the general world of living plants and animals, and occasionally to the techniques associated with inanimate objects-the way that one types of things can be found and change of their own accord, like the weather and geology of the Earth. It is often taken to indicate the "environment" or wilderness-wild pets, rocks, forest, and on the whole those things that contain not been greatly altered by real human intervention, or which persist despite individual intervention. For instance, manufactured items and human discussion generally are not considered part of nature, unless qualified as, for example, "human nature" or "the complete of nature". This more traditional idea of natural things which can still be found today signifies a distinction between the natural and the manufactured, with the unnatural being understood as that which has been helped bring into being with a human awareness or a human mind. Depending on the particular context, the term "natural" may also be recognized from the unnatural or the supernatural.
